The information we collect depends on how you use the Service and may include:

2. How We Collect Information

We collect information directly from you, automatically when you use the Service, and from services you choose to connect. For example, a Google or Facebook sign-in provider may give us basic account information according to your settings with that provider. Our hosting or content-delivery provider may also supply an approximate country code with a request.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to perform our agreement with you, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, comply with legal obligations, and, where required, based on your consent. We use information to:

• Provide, personalize, maintain, and improve the Service
• Create and secure accounts, authenticate sessions, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms
• Display content according to your visibility settings and enable social features
• Provide support and send service, security, email, or push notifications you request or enable
• Operate AI-assisted composition, link-preview, image-search, regional holiday, and recommendation features

4. How We Disclose Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information:

• To other users or the public when you make a profile or content visible to them
• To vendors that process data for hosting, storage, authentication, email, push delivery, analytics, security, AI assistance, and image search
• To OAuth, AI, or content providers when you intentionally use the relevant feature; these providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies
• When required by law, needed to protect rights and safety, or connected with a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of the Service, subject to appropriate safeguards

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use necessary cookies and local storage for authentication, security, preferences, and core functionality. Optional analytics, currently Google Analytics when configured, runs only after you consent. You can withdraw that consent through Cookie Settings, although disabling necessary storage may prevent parts of the Service from working.

6. Data Retention and Security

We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements. Account deletion removes or de-identifies account data from active systems, but limited records may remain in backups, security logs, or where retention is legally required. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You can update profile and privacy settings, control notifications, manage optional cookies, export saved-wish data, and delete your account through the Service. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent or complain to a data-protection authority. Contact us to exercise a right that is not available in the Service. We may verify your identity before responding.

8. Approximate Location and Regional Suggestions

When you save a country in your profile, it takes precedence for regional holiday suggestions. Otherwise, we may use an approximate country code supplied in request metadata by our hosting or content-delivery provider. The holiday feature uses that code for the current request and does not save the inferred country as a profile preference. IP addresses may be retained separately in authentication sessions and security logs. You can hide individual holiday suggestions.

9. International Processing

We and our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers. Privacy protections and government-access rules may differ between countries.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. If local law requires parental consent at an older age, you may use the Service only with that consent. If you believe a child provided personal information contrary to this section, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

11. Changes and Contact
